Our Story

Founder and owner of Glades Landscaping, Rich Lydon, began his work in the landscape field at a young age, cutting grass for neighbors, pushing a lawnmower around the neighborhood after school and on the weekends. Through his teens and college years he worked for a local landscaper further developing his skills in management and independently supervising a landscaping crew. With his experience, love of the outdoors, and enjoyment working with people, Rich took the next step and created Glades Landscaping in 2003. Through the years, the extensive hiring process at Glade’s has helped Rich build a respectful, professional and approachable team, putting customers at ease when the crew is onsite.

Now over 20 years later, Glades is recognized as one of the South Shore’s top rated and successful lawn care services companies and Rich looks forward to serving his local community homeowners for years to come.
